Birth Odyssey - Extended Postpartum Services

EXTENDED POSTPARTUM SERVICES (first 6-8 weeks)

These services are separate from the postpartum visits that are included with the birth doula package.

They are billed at an hourly rate of $20 and should be booked

as 2-4 hour shifts in order to be effective.

These services include:

breastfeeding assistance

basic baby support/care

running errands(grocery shopping, taking your car to get washed/serviced,etc.)

light cooking/housekeeping/ laundry

short interval babysitting (2-3 Hours) so mom and partner can go out as a couple and regroup as a couple

or to give you the opportunity to take a nap --

this is especially important if baby is colicky or overly demanding and you need a serious break

Remember -- Don't get frazzled call your doula!
